Meet Your Movement Coach:

Jill Brammer Ware is a movement coach, educator, choreographer, and embodied learning specialist whose work bridges the worlds of professional dance, higher education, arts and medicine research, and personalized fitness. Her practice is rooted in the belief that movement is both an art and a life skill: a way to build strength, restore confidence, deepen awareness, and support a more beautiful, capable, and fully inhabited life.

With training from George Mason University, the State University of New York at Purchase, and the North Carolina School for the Arts, Jill brings a rare depth of artistic and pedagogical experience to her work. She performed professionally as a dancer and was a company member of Amaranth Contemporary Dance, an experience that continues to inform her understanding of artistry, physical intelligence, collaboration, and the demands of sustained movement practice. She has taught widely in university dance departments, directed choreography and performance work, mentored students across levels, and spent years developing systems for learning, refinement, and embodied expression. These experiences shaped her understanding of how people grow through practice, feedback, structure, and creative permission.

Jill is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer whose coaching combines evidence-informed strength and conditioning with a lifetime of movement study, artistic practice, and education. Her sessions are not pieced together from disconnected exercises; they are thoughtfully composed, with each element building on the next to create a purposeful, responsive movement experience. Like choreography, the work considers rhythm, sequence, breath, effort, recovery, and the unique body in front of her. This approach creates space for greater strength, balance, coordination, and confidence, while helping clients discover more possibility, clarity, and poetry in the way they move.

Her career has also expanded into embodied research, virtual reality, and arts-and-medicine collaboration, where she explored how immersive movement experiences can support empathy, learning, and human connection. That work sharpened her ability to translate complex ideas into accessible, practical experiences for a wide range of people. Whether working in a university, a healthcare context, or a private coaching session, Jill has consistently been drawn to one essential question: how can movement help people live more fully in their bodies and in their lives?

Today, through Movement Unlimited and her custom programming, Jill works with artists, creatives, older adults, younger movers, and everyday people who want to feel stronger, more capable, and more at home in themselves. Her approach is highly individualized and deeply adaptive, drawing from dance, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, improvisation, and embodied intelligence. She is especially skilled at recognizing the crossover between art and function, helping clients discover that grace, power, precision, and resilience are not separate qualities, but different expressions of the same well-trained body.

Jill’s work is especially distinguished by its ability to meet people where they are while still holding a high standard for quality and transformation. She designs movement experiences that are thoughtful, elegant, and effective, with an emphasis on progress that feels sustainable and meaningful. For some clients, that means building strength and mobility for daily life; for others, it means reconnecting with creativity, recovering confidence, or refining the way they inhabit space, effort, and presence.

At the center of everything she does is a commitment to helping people move with greater intelligence, integrity, and ease. Jill sees the body not as a problem to be fixed, but as a living system capable of refinement, expression, and profound adaptation. Her work invites people to experience movement as a source of vitality, clarity, and beauty on the studio floor, in the workout, and throughout everyday life.
